Meet Your Administration

Dr. Stacie Coppola - Principal

Dear Minter Families,

It is with great joy and continued excitement as I begin my fifth year as the proud Principal of Sara Harp Minter Elementary School. It is truly an honor to serve such an incredible community where we work together to educate, equip, and inspire students to become respectful, responsible, and safe leaders.

With over 24 years in education, including ten years of leadership experience in Fayette County, I look forward to another PAWSOME year as a Minter Mountain Lion! Before becoming Principal, I served as Assistant Principal at both Fayetteville and Peachtree City Elementary Schools. My journey in education has also included time as a math and literacy instructional coach and 12 years as a special education teacher. I began my teaching career in a third-grade classroom at a small charter school and spent my early years teaching in Florida before moving to Georgia in 2007. I am a proud graduate of the University of Florida, the University of West Georgia, and most recently, the University of Georgia, where I earned my doctorate in educational leadership.

As Principal, I am deeply committed to fostering a nurturing and positive environment where students thrive, staff feel supported, and families are valued partners. I believe that strong relationships are the foundation for learning, and I am dedicated to building and maintaining connections with every member of our school community. My goal remains to uphold Minter’s tradition of excellence while ensuring that each student receives a high-quality, engaging education in a safe and welcoming space.

I am truly honored to lead and serve the Minter community and look forward to a fantastic 2025-2026 school year filled with growth, achievement, and celebration. My door is always open, and I welcome your input, ideas, and collaboration as we work together to make this our best year yet.

In partnership,
Dr. Coppola

Mrs. Elaine Wingfield

Dear Minter Families,

It is with great pride and heartfelt enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal of Sara Harp Minter Elementary School. I am honored to join such a vibrant, compassionate, and dedicated community of learners, and I am incredibly excited to begin this new chapter alongside Dr. Coppola and the amazing Minter staff.

For the past seven years, I have served as an interrelated special education teacher at Peeples Elementary School. During that time, I had the privilege of supporting students with diverse learning needs while partnering closely with families and colleagues to foster growth in our learners. Prior to that, I worked in early childhood education, and throughout my career, I have always been driven by a belief in the power of relationships, the importance of inclusive practices, and the incredible potential in every child.

My journey in education has also been shaped by my roles as a mentor teacher, instructional collaborator, and school leader, and I am eager to bring those experiences to my work here at Minter. As a parent, educator, and lifelong learner, I understand the importance of creating a school environment where every student feels seen, supported, and inspired to grow into their best selves.

Minter's reputation for excellence, kindness, and community is what drew me here and I already feel so warmly welcomed. I look forward to working in partnership with you to continue fostering a joyful and safe school culture where students are encouraged to lead with character, curiosity, and confidence.

Please know that my door (and heart) are always open. I can’t wait to meet your children, collaborate with you, and celebrate all the awesome things we will accomplish together this school year!

With gratitude and excitement,
Elaine Wingfield
